Internet-related technologies are now ubiquitous. We browse hundreds of webpages every day, send messages, use video conferencing, and yet there is a lot more going on. For sure in the tools that we use, which send activity logs and diagnostic data to their producers. I am particularly interested in building and operating websites, so in 2016 I completed the "Become a Front-End Developer" bootcamp and wrote my first website from scratch. Then I was invited to the Google implementation team where I learned about web tools that help website owners measure web traffic and interact with users. That was a discovery!

What exactly did I do?

I helped clients in implementing (i.e. installing in the website code) and troubleshooting Google tools:

  • Google Analytics,

  • Google Ads (remarketing and conversion scripts),

  • Google Tag Manager (mainly Google tags),

  • and Merchant Center.

Together with our clients, we were looking for the best solutions for them and it gave us a lot of satisfaction. I have convinced many people that observing data in tables and charts can be addictive.

I have also passed my passion on to other agents, training them in Poland, India and Malaysia. It was a great pleasure :)

From June 2019 to September 2020, I dealt with the analysis of the quality of the team's work and the introduction of new processes as a Quality Analyst. I learned a lot then and I realised that I enjoy sharing knowledge about the operation of tools much more than enforcing the rules set up in advance.

Now my focus is mainly on Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. If you are interested in this topic, check out the Analytics Zone, read the articles, and if you want to learn how to use Analytics, I also invite you to the course I teach.
